Hi ya'll~~
Have you ever tried
one of the most street food in Korea
called "Tteokbokii"?
Topokki is one of my favorite korean snack(?) / food!
It is alittle spicy, but tolerable :)
Anyhow, as ya'll may have all guessed,
I would like to share one of my top ranked
Tteokbokii place!
It is called
Dokdo Wang saewoo Twigim
Dokdo is the name of one of the Korean Island
Wang means King
Saewoo means shrimp
Twigim means fried goods
in Korean :)
When I used to live nearby,
I would order in from here.
But I thought it was too good to enjoy by myself,
I visited the restaurant with my date to have on the spot.
When you visit,
You MUST order the
"Chadol Tteokbokii" and "Ojingeo Twigim"
Chadol is brisket and
Ojingeo means squid in Korean.
So if you say "Ojingeo Twigim",
you would be ordering fried calamari.
Yes, the restuarant is called
"Dokdo King shrimp fries" lol
But personally,
I think the signature menu of this place is
The Brisket Tteokbokii and Fried Calamari!
The photos you see in the box is
when I ordered in.
Tteokbokii with fried goods and some fishcake soup!
Those are a good combo!
Anyone who would like to try some good Tteokbokii,
I would highly recommend this place :)
From Unseo station, you would need to come out from
Exit #1.
It is about 4 minutes walk!
