Hi ya'll~
In Korea,
there are two types of main noodle menu
representing the chinese restaurant
JJajang (Black bean sauce noodle)
and
Champon (Spicy soup noodle)
It's mostly a battle of
spicy vs. non spicy
However for me,
this question was never so difficult because
I would always order the non spicy noodle.
"JJajang (Black bean sauce noodle)"
But the place I want to share today
has made me want to only order
Champon (spicy soup noodles) when ordering from this place.
The place I want to share with you guys today called
Gwishin Ban-Jum
The name Gwishin means ghost in Korean
I am not sure why they are named ghost restaurant,
but they sure do have a great spicy soup noodles!
When I was first ordering from this place,
I was planning to order the black bean sauce noodle.
However because they had so many compliments on
the spicy soup noodle for this place,
I ended up ordering the spicy soup noodle.
And when I had my first mouthful,
It was filled with amazement!
WOW!!!
The texture of the noodle was very different from the
other noodles I have had in the past.
I found out that the noodles were not made of
flours, but was made of barley.
I tend to get stomachaches when I have too much
flours, but I felt so comfortable
after eating spicy soup noodle from this place
The soup was very addicting itself,
but the texture of the noodles was also
one of the factor for the cause of addiction
Because I like the seafood,
I always end up ordering the
Large portion of "Cheonyeo gwishin Champon"
Cheonyeo gwishin in Korean means the
lady ghost.
I don't know why it was named the lady ghost spicy soup noodle,
but what matters the most is the flavor right?? lol
I would recommend this place to
Noodle lovers or those of you
okay with the spicy food!
Even if you are not good with the spicy food,
there are always choice of
black bean sauce noodles!
Those of you visiting by subway,
Gwishin Banjum is about
5minutes walk from Chungdam station exit #4
FYI,
I have also attached map below.
Feels great to share places where I had precious memories
Hope ya'll have sweet day
