Hi, ya'll~
When its winter, do you have any snacks that comes to your mind?
Today, the place I would like to share is called,
Bukchon Ho-tteok

Ho-tteok is Korean traditional snack!
Ho-tteok is like a flat pancake.
But ho-tteok has sweet honey taste filling inside
whereas pancakes don't have fiilings and toppings!
There is a saying that it is called Ho-tteok, because
you would have to blow the Ho-tteok(which makes your mouth shape 'ho')
as you eat because it is too hot and Tteok means rice cake in Korean.
But Ho-tteok is not a rice cake :)
It has a rice cake texture, but most of the batter is made with
flour.

We also ordered shik-hae because ho-tteok was too hot!
Shik-hae is a sweet rice drink made with Korean styled honey called Jo-chung!
Hot ho-tteok and Cold shik-hae went very
well with each other.
The picture above is the menu of Bukchon Ho-tteok.

I also took a picture when Ho-tteok was being made :)
Look at those well cooked side for the Ho-tteok!
Doesn't it make ya'll to have watering mouth?!?

The picture above is a shot of inside.
Ya'll can eat inside or outside!
Since the sweet honey filling inside may drip,
my date and I went inside to enjoy our ho-tteok and shik-hae.

The picture above is the exterior of the Bukchon Ho-tteok.
As I have mentioned above, ya'll can enjoy the ho-tteok from the outside
on a stand :)
Bukchon Ho-tteok is located about 13minutes away from Anguk Station exit#2

FYI,
I have also attached map below.
Feels great to share places where I had precious memories
Hope ya'll have sweet day
Thanks for visiting my blog!
