Hi ya'll~~~
There are times when you are kinda hungry,
but you don't want to eat too heavily "just because"
Well, in that case how about some
Korean styled noodle soup?!
The place I would like to share is in Sillim and it is called,
Ja-mae meolchi gook-soo
"Jamae" means sisters
"Meolchi" means anchovies
"Gooksoo" means noodle soup in Korean.
Well, the place I would like to share is a
casual restaurant that is not too expensive :)
I am not sure if they are still available for 24hours
because of the Covid, but this restaurant used to
open for 24 hours.
Just because anchovies are in it,
does not mean they are visible in the noodle soup!
The anchovies are ONLY used to make the soup.
So those of you who do not like to see anchovies,
Don't be afraid! lol
When I first came here with my friend,
we just ordered the original noodle soup.
But because the soup was so delicious,
I went back alone and ordered
Spicy bibim noodle,
Soo-jae-bi,
and the original noodle
(menu that I ordered with my friend before)
and had a table filled fiesta!
And yes, they were all good!
Personally, I like noodle soup.
But I like Soojaebi better.
Soojaebi is also a soup, except they are not noodles.
It would be easier if you thought of it as round noodles.
Like for pasta,
spaghetti, penne, lasagna they are all noodles
with different texture.
Soojaebi is round, flour based noodle(?) served in soup!
Also, because it is round, it has more texture when you chew.
For Spicy bibim noodle,
it was a little spicy for me but you can taste the
sesame oil at the end which makes it unstoppable to eat.
The picture above is the exterior of the place.
The place is about 7 minutes walk from Sillim station exit #5!
FYI,
I have also attached map below.
Feels great to share places where I had precious memories
Hope ya'll have sweet day
