Hi ya'll~
First, let me start today's blog with a question lol
Have ya'll heard of a word CROIFFLES?
and
Do you know WHY they are called Croiffles??
The word croiffle is a mixture of word between
Croissant and Waffles!
Croiffles are made with
Croissant dough in a Waffle shape :)
The place I would like to share today is a cafe located
in Gyeonggi-do called
Wood Coffee
To tell the truth, my date and I did not plan to visit this
specific cafe.
We were coming back after going sight seeing at
"Choolung Dari" meaning "Suspension Bridge" in Paju.
My date has never had Croiffles before,
so we catergorized our dessert cafe to have croiffles.
From the list we had, "Wood Cafe"
seemed quiet and nice to cool down and rest
after walking for a long time in a heat.
Plus, the fact that they had
Green grape Ade made me very excited :)
I am not much of a soda drinker,
but this day was too hot
that ice coffee would not suffice my thirst!
So, this cafe is meaningful in a way
because it was a place where my date
had his very first Croiffles! :)
After entering the place,
there are some seats nearby the big window
to look outside while enjoying your dessert!
The place is not big.
If you would like to enjoy your dessert
in a cozy place with a quiet calming atmosphere,
I would recommend the "Wood Coffee" cafe.
The time we visited was right about
supper time, so the place seemed more quiet.
"Wood Coffee" looks like a log cabin from outside.
It was a good place for calm, healing dessert time.
It is good to be nearby downtown,
but having those moments seeing the nature also felt precious.
If you have any plans to visit Gyeonggi-do Goyang-si,
how about some Croiffles with some drinks?
FYI,
I have also attached map below.
Feels great to share places where I had precious memories
Hope ya'll have sweet day
Thanks for visiting my blog!
