The place I would like to share today is a
warm Kalguksoo!
The place is called,
Chanyangjip
This restaraunt have been in
The Michelin Guide 2017-2019!
I was curious to visit this place because it has been
here since 1965!!!
OMG!!!
That is almost like 56years old!!!!!!
Anyhow,
I belive that there is a legit reason for
one place to last long!
The place is not too big, but my friend and I were lucky
to find a seat when we arrived!
We ordered two bowls of Kalguksoo and
oh boy, it was warm and the soup was just
so amazing!
No wonder it has history!
The soup is clear, no hot pepper or hot sauce.
It has some shell fish(clams) in the soup which
makes the aftertaste much cleaner!
And the seaweed on top makes the soup
taste salty enough to keep wanting to have
another full scoop of the soup!
The picture above is the exterior of the restaurant.
It looks old and small,
but I think that just tells how much this place has its own
history and taste!

The restaurant is located about
6minutes walk from Jongno 3(sam)-ga Station exit#4.
