(Republic of Korea/ Anguk/ 안국) Lovely steak and Calzone from Soowarae

 

 

 

 

Hi, ya'll~

 

The place I would like to share today is called, 

 

 

 

Soowarae

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was my date's B-day and I wanted to 

take my date somewhere special :)

 

As I was searching for the place, 

I remembered my friend's recommendation!

 

It was once a place my friend recommended to me :)

 

So, I decided to go to Soowarae for my date's B-day!

There are various menus

 

If you go during the lunch hour, there are lunch menu set.

Also, there are other set menus so you can choose from the set menus as well :)

 

 

 

Appetizers, pastas, pizzas and more!

 

 

 

 

 

There are also wine menus as well :)

 

 

 

 

 

My date and I decided to order the Sooware set B!

 

First we were served with appetizer salad and bread with beverage!

We ordered orange ade and green grape ade!

 

 

 

 

For pizza, we ordered Calzone!

 

 

 

I have only known about Calzone and haven't really tried it before.

It was very exciting to finally order and 

try the dish!

 

It was shaped like a dumpling.

The dough was filled with pizza topping and the dough was soft and warm!

 

 

 

 

For the steak, we ordered tenderloin cooked medium rare!

The steak was very savory and soft!

 

I ate the steak itself or with basil sauce on the side and 

my date ate the steak itself or with the whole grain mustard :P

Soowarae was opened since 2000!

 

 

 

 

I also took the entrance of Soowarae.

The chef mannequin looks welcoming holding the menus from the entrance.

 

 

 

My date and I enjoyed our lunch date very much :)

It was very delicious meal!

 

Soowarae is about 17minutes away from Anguk Station exit#2
